Suspended Driver Caught Again

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On November 5, 2020 at 8:47 a.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) that had no licence plates on Gould Street in Wiarton, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, ON.The operator was a suspended driver and there were no licence plates or insurance on this ATV. As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 40 year old male from South Bruce Peninsula with the following offences:Driving while under suspension, section 53(1) Highway Traffic Act (HTA)No number plate showing permit number, Ontario Regulation 316(16)(1) HTAMotor vehicle not properly insured, Ontario Regulation 316(17) HTAThe accused received a Provincial Summons and the involved ATV was towed from the scene.Anyone with information that can assist Grey Bruce OPP with this investigation, call 1-888-310-1122.
