Stratford Driver Caught Going 170 in an 80

(WEST PERTH, ON) – A Stratford driver is going to be walking for a week after they were caught driving more than double the speed limit in West Perth.On November 19 2020, just after 11:00 p.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a vehicle on the Perth Line 34, in the Municipality of West Perth, after it was found to be travelling in excess of 170km/h in an 80km/h limit zone.As a result, Nickademus VAN HORN, 28, of Stratford, has been charged with:Race motor vehicle – Excessive SpeedA seven day driving suspension and seven day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
