Repeat Offender Charged With Assault With Weapon – Christopher OUELLETTE

(NORTH PERTH, ON) – A conducted energy weapon has been seized after an assault in Listowel earlier this month.

On October 07, 2020, just before 4:00 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a parking lot of a residence on Barber Avenue North, in the Municipality of North Perth, after a person was threatened with a conducted energy weapon.

No one was injured during the incident.

As a result, Christopher OUELLETTE, 30, of Palmerston, has been charged with:

Assault with a Weapon

Possession of Prohibited Device or Ammunition for a Dangerous Purpose

Failure to Comply with Release Order

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
