Hand Gun Seized In Kitchener Drug Bust

Incident #: WA20249404Publish Date: Nov 23, 2020Incident Date: Nov 20, 2020Location: WEBER ST E, KITCHENER, ON CanadaOn Friday, November 20, 2020, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Drugs and Firearms Team with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team conducted a Criminal Code search warrant at a Motel in Kitchener. Officers searched a unit and recovered a loaded handgun with ammunition. They also seized suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, psilocybin, cannabis marihuana and pills. As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old adult male and a 34-year-old adult female both from Kitchener now face several criminal code and drugs and firearms-related charges.
