(PERTH EAST, ON) – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Cambridge driver after they were speeding more than 70km/h over the limit in Perth East last weekend.On November 09 2020, just before 11:30 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on the Perth Line 34, in the Municipality of Perth East, after it was found to be travelling in excess of 150km/h in an 80km/h limit zone.As a result, Harmanveer SINGH, 23, of Cambridge, has been charged with:Race motor vehicle – Excessive SpeedA seven day driving suspension and seven day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
